Woot! Fantasy Faire!!!

Fantasy Faire is still my absolute favorite event in Second Life. At this time last year, I was just starting to make Dinkies clothing, and I had my first mini-shop at Fantasy Faire. Shortly after that, I opened GPA Dinkies in Raglan Shire. I started the year as a part-time tiny, and now I think I’m more of a part-time biggie. I’m still making clothes for biggies, though!

Besides expanding our minds and nourishing our spirits, the main goal of Fantasy Faire is raising money for Relay for Life of Second Life, to support the American Cancer Society’s worldwide initiatives. My shop is a corner of the shop sponsored by my Relay for Life Team, Aether Chrononauts Tiny Steps. Last year I made Dinkies t-shirts, one for each of 20 support ribbons. This year I’ve updated those to include our new Scoop Tee, and I’ve made matching t-shirt sets for Biggies. All of the money from those sales, 100%, goes to Relay for Life. If there are more cancer ribbons that you would like to see represented, just let me know.

I was delighted to discover a new-to-me texture designer at the Spring Spectaculum. Elisa Porter makes beautiful fabric designs, several of which are available as group gifts in her store, Made by Porter. When I asked if she had similar designs in other colorways, she gifted me with more new patterns, which appear on these gowns, and on the Fantasy Faire Quest prizes below. I encourage you to take a look at her offerings. I love her style!

My favorite part of each year’s Fantasy Faire is the Quest. This year’s Quest is titled “The Seven Layers of Joy”. Once you complete the entire Quest, you receive an incredible amount of amazing prizes from the vendors who support Fantasy Faire. This year we are honored to contribute these four prizes:
